BROOKLYN (November 15, 2023) – Higher Heights proudly announces the designation of Glynda C. Carr, President and CEO, as a 2024 National Leading from the Inside Out (LIO) Yearlong Fellow by the esteemed Rockwood Leadership Institute. Rockwood Leadership Institute is globally recognized for its mission to empower leaders and instigate positive change within communities.

Annually, Rockwood assembles a distinguished group of nationally renowned leaders for its yearlong fellowship program, which has gained international recognition as a premier educational platform for seasoned social change leaders since its establishment in 2003.

In response to the cohort announcement, Higher Heights Leadership Fund Board Chair and Rockwood National LIO Yearlong Fellow, Class of 2010, Tracy Sturdivant issued the following statement:

“Glynda’s selection as a 2024 National LIO Yearlong Fellow is a testament to her outstanding leadership qualities and steadfast commitment to driving positive change.
