About Sunday Brunch
Sunday Brunch with Higher Heights is bringing the power of talking and brunching into the 21st century. This monthly social-media-driven series seeks to encourage Black women to become part of national conversations on trending political and current events affecting our communities.
The Sunday Brunch series will serve as a gathering spot across multiple social media platforms, where black women of all ages can check in to learn, comment and take action on important issues of the day.
These virtual brunches will take place from 1:30—3:30 p.m., every first Sunday of the month. The events will offer up a compelling menu of opinion pieces, blogs, Twitter town-hall chats, and live webcast interviews with well-known and emerging politicians, journalists, activists and political analysts.
Women across the country will be able to join in thoughtful, moderated conversations by visiting the Higher Heights’ website, Facebook page or logging onto Twitter during the events. Higher Heights will even provide a brunch menu that women and their friends can come together to replicate and eat while collectively joining in the conversations.
