Higher Heights for America is your go-to resource to provide Black women and their networks with the tools they need to be informed, engaged and to take action leading up to and beyond Election Day 2020.

Given the historically high stakes of the 2020 presidential election and the critical role and impact that Black women voters will have on its outcome, Higher Heights for America has launched Where They Stand: Our Voices, Our Issues. The program is designed to ensure Black women know where each candidate stands on key issues, and to provide candidates with an opportunity to hear directly from our members and network of Black women across America.

We asked candidates to fill out our questionnaire, which focused on core policy concerns and voting issues as identified by our members in a previous survey. Consistent with national polling among Black women, these issues include access to affordable healthcare, economic security, the social safety net, gun violence and criminal justice reform.
