Lori Hall Armstrong is Counting Down to 45
Some are bracing for catastrophic attacks on policies that have made all the difference for Black women, their families and communities – helping them to survive and in many cases thrive. I will not sit on the sidelines and let that happen.
I am standing with Higher Heights, a national organization exclusively dedicated to advancing Black women’s political power and leadership by ensuring they have the tools to engage, advocate and lead in their personal and professional communities, in their efforts to fight the anticipated rollbacks of the last 50 years of progress.
We know civic engagement doesn't begin and end on Election Day. Join me in making sure the voices of America's 23 million Black women are heard in Washington and state capitols and city halls across the country.
Higher Heights worked tirelessly over the last election cycle to make sure Black women led at the ballot box and on the ballot. In this hostile political environment, Black women cut through the noise and Higher Heights for America, and its sister organization Higher Heights Leadership Fund, were effective.
I think you would agree that the work of Higher Heights is critical at this point in our nation’s history. I hope you will join me in supporting the Countdown to 45 Campaign by making a contribution now. Help me reach my goal of raising $2,500 before January 20th.
Your support will help Higher Heights recruit, train and support more Black women who are prepared to run for office and higher office as well as continue to ensure that their voices are heard in important debates in the next administration.
Black women are too powerful to be ignored. I think you would agree that there is strengthen in numbers. Become a part of the growing national network of Black women and our allies who are building Black women’s political power beyond the voting booth to demand that the issues affecting Black women our families, communities and nation are a priority.
Thank you in advance.
